Important Information: Property Contamination Awareness
First, the good news:
High-level contamination is rare in professionally managed residential rental properties.
However, while the risk is low, it does exist. For this reason, we ask owners to consider what level of precaution is appropriate for a prudent and cautious landlord.

Insurance cover is available, but like testing, it represents an additional cost and will require testing to be completed before it is valid. In some cases, cover may only apply where contamination exceeds Government-specified threshold levels.
As noted above, while high-level contamination is uncommon in well-managed properties, our role is to ensure clients are fully informed so they can make their own decisions based on their individual risk preferences.
Testing costs vary depending on property size and the number of rooms, but for most standard properties the cost is typically in the range of $300–$400.
